Connecting, Educating, Advocating, and Leading Since 1917
For those who love books, WNBA offers the Community of the Book, a professional nonprofit volunteer organization with members encompassing the spectrum from publishers and booksellers to authors, agents, librarians, journalists, bloggers, book packagers, designers, members of reading groups, editors, indie presses, literary magazines, educators, literacy advocates, translators... In a world of specialization, we are generalists, seeking the big picture. Find us at wnba-books.org

Part of Denver's writing community, Telling Tales sprouted from the roots of Stories, Stories, Bring your Stories, founded by Marcia and Edwin Forrest Ward in collaboration with Marilyn Megenity at the Mercury Cafe in 2010.
Following Ed's death in early 2023, Marcia shared his contact list with storyteller Gwylym Cano.
Gwylym rebranded the monthly gathering Telling Tales, and the group has landed in the back room at Vine Street Pub on E 17th Avenue in City Park West.
We meet the final Wednesday every month, 7 to 9 pm.
Never a cover charge. Want to tell a telling tale? Join us, listen, and talk to Gwylym about getting on the roster for a future reading. Not a writer but love stories? We welcome you.
Come early, order food and drink, and support this vibrant
in-person creative community.
